Apply for a PPM property
We are glad you decided to rent a PPM property. The following will guide you through the application process:
- Print and fill out our Application for Lease. Fill out as much information as possible.
- Arrange payment. We require two checks or money orders: one for $50.00, which represents the application fee, and the other equal to one month’s rent. Note: the application fee is $50 per person applying OR per married couple with the same last name.
- Deliver your application. You can bring the application to our office (see directions) or you can fax it to 703-642-3619. Make sure to include copies of your payments. If you have the ability to scan documents, you may email your application and payments to ppm@ppmnva.com. It's a good idea to call and confirm delivery. If you are working with an agent, give your agent the application along with your payment. Your agent will then deliver your application and payments for you.
The application process will take one to five days depending on where the owner is located. Some of our owners are overseas and it may take some time if there is a time difference. NOTE: If delivered over the weekend or on a holiday, your application will begin processing the next business day. Our processing department will notify you if any additional information that is needed, and/or if the application is accepted.
When you submit your application you agree that PPM may check your credit, contact your last landlord, and confirm proof of your income. Should you need to supply explanations to any of the above, please do so when you submit your application in the form of a cover letter.
